Container Corporation, a Pico Rivera, California, corrugated box manufacturer, has won in
several categories in "Packaging Shoot-Out,"--the 8th International Corrugated
Packaging Design Competition -- held at the Hyatt Hill Country Resort in San Antonio,
September 24-27. The event, sponsored by the Association of Independent Corrugated
Converters (AICC), an international trade association representing the independent sector
of the corrugated packaging industry, attracted a record number of entries at 265,
according to AICC Competition Chairman Gary West, who is President of Custom Packaging in
Lebanon, Tennessee.
According to Mr. West, Bay Cities Container won both first and third place
in the Category, "Direct Printing Using Offset Printing Processes"; first place
in the "Best Application of Spot Label with Direct Printing" and third place in
the "Best Corrugated Promotion Piece" Category. "Bay Cities container
Corporation is a highly creative and graphics-oriented box manufacturer whose body of work
is consistently outstanding," West said. "At the last competition, Bay
Cities also won "Best of Show", attesting to its excellence and artistry, both
technically and graphically," he said.
