Packaging Designer Internship

>The position is responsible for originated corrugated industrial packaging & point-of-purchase (POP) displays that are visually appealing and salable. Handling high volume/profile accounts for top salesmen. Different design concepts are originated for a variety of customers that are expected to be creative, practical and salable. The position must consider a number of options and evaluate and recommend a solution that best meets customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Make RSC’s, FOL’s, DST’s on Cad / Cam table
- 3-D drawings
- Prepare detailed sketches
- Prepare samples for packaging products
- Perform ISTA testing
- Cut out multiple runs of D/C’s
- Participate on product testing
- Perform basic math and geometric computations in determining the sizing and scaling of models and products
- Proefficent with the Programs: Artios Cad, Photoshop, Studio 3D Max, and Illustrator
